  • The Models PFP7 and PFP7/C are low temperature, single channel flame photometers designed for the routine determinations of Na and K (Ca, Ba and Li optional). With in-built automatic flame failure detection for user safety these products are ideal for use in clinical, industrial and educational applications. The Model PFP7/C is specifically designed for use in clinical applications. The in-built lineariser circuitry enables readings of both Na and K at the normal clinical serum concentrations to be displayed directly in mmol/l. Serum samples must be diluted 200:1 or 100:1 prior to presentation to the flame photometer. The Series 7 diluter is available to enable this to be carried out efficiently and accurately.

  • The PCLM3 is designed as a dual purpose chloride analyser for clinical and inductrial applications. The unit has three measurement ranges; two are for use in clinical determinations and require 20µl or 100µl samples, and the third range is for industrial determinations and requires a 500µl sample.
  • The system operates on the proven coulometric principle, providing a quick and easy method to multiple measurements. Automatic indication is given when the reagent requires replacing or the electrodes need cleaning.
  • The PCLM3 will determine concentrations in biological samples such as serum, plasma, urine, sweat and CSF. It will also determine concentrations in industrial samples with low ionic strength, neutral pH and free of silver halides, other silver reactive components (other than chloride), low solid matter and low levels of dissolved solids.
