  Model 62XX Series Fluorimeters
High performance fluorimetry with great value for money.
  • Model 6280 Fluorimeter

    Full specifications
    (1.7 MB)
Wavelength range 190 to 1190 nm
  • Total Energy Transfer (TET) system for maximum sensitivity
  • Create and Save secure methods
  • Intelligent Filter Modules (IFM) ensure correct filters are fitted
  • Raw fluorescence and Concentration values displayed
  • Calibration against up to 6 standards possible
  • Kinetic (timed reading) functions
  • Electrically heated sample holder and sipper pump options
  • Compatible with DataWay PC software
  • Three models are available to cover a wide range of applications. Choose the Model 6280 for the most sensitive determinations with emission wavelengths up to 650nm. Where higher emission wavelengths will be experienced choose the Model 6285 with its red-enhanced detector. For less sensitive applications with a broader range choose the low cost Model 6270.
  • All three models offer intuitive operation with a user interface based on logical menus that can be navigated from the simple keypad. Up to 20 methods can be created without restriction and be saved for future use. They can also be locked against accidental change by password entry, ensuring data integrity.
  • The permanent time and date tag on every stored reading further enhances Good Laboratory Practice, while calibration reminders and operator identity can also be entered to support conformance and traceability of operation. With press-to-read operation and Total Energy Transfer (TET) technology the output of the high-energy xenon lamp is maximised and its expected life extended, so that it should never need replacing in normal use.
  • The high quality optics is complemented by the Intelligent Filter Modules (IFM) that can be identified by the system. This enables error messages to be generated and displayed should the wrong filters be fitted or their positions be incorrect.
  • All models are powered from an external, universal mains adapter suitable for use from 90 to 230Vac, while the 12Vdc input enables use in vehicles or from suitable battery packs.
  • Where temperature controlled fluorescence studies are necessary an optional electrically heated sample holder is easily fitted. For continuous flow analysis an external sipper pump and a wide range of flow-through cuvettes are also available.

  AquaGem Photometer
Rugged, water resistant and fully portable photometer with great value for money.
  • AquaGem: portable photometer

    Full specifications
    (0.2 MB)
Low cost, flexible entry to water testing
  • For both field and laboratory applications
  • Introducing Intelligent Filter Modules that, 1. automatically select correct wavelength for the test, 2. automatically set instrument parameters for the test, 3. are optically comparable to a visible spectrophotometer
  • PC application software included
  • Flexible sample holder accepts 16 and 24mm diameter tubes as well as 10mm and 50mm cuvettes
  • No lamps to fail and replace
  • lifetime light source.
  • AquaGem offers the simplest system for the quantitative analysis of a range of water, wastewater and environmental samples.
  • Directly compatible with the Aquanova test kits, its flexible approach ensures both a low cost introduction to these tests as well as offering a budget system for users of a specific range of tests. A detailed, graphic instruction sheet supplied with the test kits is dedicated to offering step-by-step instructions on using the kits with AquaGem.
  • At the heart of the simple operating system are the Intelligent Filter Modules. Each one is fitted with the optimum interference filter for the specific test and a 'single wire' memory device pre-programmed with all the instrument settings required for that test. Together these items return a performance equivalent to a significantly more expensive visible spectrophotometer system.
  • The Intelligent Filter Modules make operation as simple as it can be, for many tests just simply drop in the filter module, calibrate to a blank and then insert and measure prepared samples.
  • AquaGem's small format and options for operation on either a universal mains supply or batteries enables use in both laboratory or field locations. The flexible sample holder accepts 16mm and 24mm tubes as well as 10mm and 50mm cuvettes ensuring all tests can be carried out without changing sampling accessories.
  • All readings taken on AquaGem are stored, along with the date and time of the reading, in its internal non-volatile memory. This data can then be downloaded using the PC application software included, for storage or presentation in most software programmes.
